The Unified Voice of Information Markets
The Information Markets Association (IMA) is the first industry association dedicated to information markets (commonly referred to as either event contract markets or prediction markets). We bring together all key stakeholders in this rapidly growing industry to advance transparency, trust, and innovation. Founded in 2026 by a coalition of leading market participants, IMA ensures our industry’s voice is heard by policymakers, regulators, and the public.
Industry Snapshot
In 2025 alone, over $27 billion was traded on information markets.
As these markets grow and regulations evolve, a unified voice is essential. IMA fills this role — advocating for sensible policies, promoting best practices, and ensuring high ethical standards across the ecosystem. We represent a broad community of participants, from exchanges and market makers to researchers and innovators, all committed to a fair and thriving information marketplace.
